Using vocalises, breathwork, bodywork and creative exercises we grow our voice and its expression, to find release, comfort and safety not only in our singing but many other areas of our lives. It is for all levels, all genres, and gives principles to apply to all songs and repertoire.

This playlist is five half hour videos outlining the fundamental aspects of trauma informed singing.
In each video I go through each pillar of the voice (posture, breath, resonance, phonation and expression) outlining both the challenges someone who has experienced trauma experiences, and effective ways to work with it.
I demonstrate examples of exercises and methods with which to get into your body in a way that feels relevant to your experiences, and ways in which your voice can be accessed in a more holistic and comfortable way.
Join me for ten minutes of singing a day. The playlist contains thirty ten minute videos, each hitting up an area of the voice - such as using the breath effectively, registers, range, resonance, dynamics, legato, effective use of consonants and vocal energy.
With a specific look at each vocal aspect each day we will do ten minutes of exercises on it, and by the end of 30 days we will combine them all - so you understand your voice a lot more and have a foundation of technique you can depend on.
